Pistorius cleared of murder, faces verdict Friday on lesser charges

Oscar Pistorius broke down and wept as he was cleared of murder in his trial for shooting his girlfriend steenkamp, but he still faces the likelihood of a culpable homicide conviction as the judge found his conduct "unlawful" and "negligent."





The famed "Blade Runner," who became a global icon as the first double amputee to compete against olympic track athletes, sobbed and trembled as he heard Judge Thokozile Masipa acquit him of murder on thursday.
